The 2nd BrightSpace Modelling Workshop will take place on 8 April 2025, hosted in a hybrid format at Wageningen University & Research (WUR) The Hague Office and online via MS Teams.
Building on ongoing efforts to operationalise the Safe and Just Operating Space (SJOS) framework, this workshop will bring together modelling teams from across the project to refine and align approaches to modelling BrightSpace indicators.
🔍 Workshop Objectives:
- Comprehensive Indicator Coverage: Ensure all BrightSpace SJOS indicator domains are addressed by at least one model.
- Refined Modelling Approaches: Deep-dive into how models capture SJOS indicator dynamics, identify gaps, overlaps, and potential flagship models in shared domains.
- Technology Integration: Explore how new technologies can be integrated across models and prioritize those most promising for indicator refinement.
- Deliverable Alignment: Coordinate modelling efforts with the timeline and content of key deliverables due in 2025.
- Tracking Progress: Set up a practical action list and shared tracking system to support coordinated implementation and follow-up.
