Towards a safe and just operating
space for EU agriculture

Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn (UBO)

Location: Bonn, Germany
Role in the project:

The role of UBO in this project includes contributions to WP1, WP2, WP3, WP8 and WP11. Major contributions are in WP3 where the focus is on the supply-side empirical evidences on technological and structural change and how these relate to the S&J outcomes, particularly with respect to biodiversity. Another major focus is on WP8 with the aiming to identify and parameterise future technologies. Just like all other partners in the consortium, UBO also contributes to project communication, results dissemination and exploitation in WP11.

Description:

The University of Bonn (UBO) is an international highly visible institution of higher education and research. The groups, ‘Data science in agricultural economics’ (Storm) and ‘Economic and Agricultural Policy’ (Heckelei) at the Institute for Food and Resource Economics focus on quantitative analysis as well as development of empirical models for agricultural and food related policies. This includes farm-level modelling or analysis, likewise, more global environmental and biodiversity related studies.
