The BrightSpace WP12 Executive Board met on 28 January to review recent progress and align priorities ahead of the Annual Project Meeting and the forthcoming project phase.
A key agenda item was feedback from the RP2 review meeting. The Executive Board acknowledged the positive assessment received from the European Commission and external reviewers, who commended the quality of the work delivered and the strong collaborative effort across the consortium. Review meeting materials have been shared with the Commission, and the RP2 review report is expected within the coming weeks. Highlights from the review have also been communicated via the project website.
Preparations for the Annual Project Meeting, scheduled for 10–12 March in Cremona (Italy), were discussed in detail. The Executive Board reviewed the current registration status, the draft agenda, and the planned bilateral work package meetings. Consortium members were reminded to complete registration-related steps and were encouraged to plan their travel to facilitate participation in pre-meetings and extended discussions. Options for involving the BrightSpace early-career and youth network were also discussed, including the organisation of a poster session of AMYRN fellows and targeted communication activities during the meeting.
The meeting further addressed stakeholder engagement activities, with updates on preparations for upcoming thematic seminars, retreats, and capacity-building events.
In addition, the Executive Board reviewed the status of the Common Dissemination and Exploitation (CDE) process. Work package leaders were reminded of the upcoming deadline for identifying outputs, a key step in preparing exploitation pathways for BrightSpace results.
An overview of BrightSpace activities planned for 2026 was presented, including major deliverables, conferences, and events for presenting and discussing project results, as well as preparations for the next review milestone in autumn. Coordination with work package leaders on selected deliverables and review procedures will continue in the coming period.
The meeting concluded with a look ahead to upcoming priorities, including final conference planning and further preparations for the Annual Project Meeting. The next Executive Board meeting will take place online on 25 February.
