Technology Centre Prague (TC Prague) is a non-profit association of legal entities established in 1994 with around 70 employees. TC Prague, particularly the Department of Strategic Studies is experienced in the use of various methods of ex-post analyses and evaluation of development policies and future-oriented studies, such as econometric and statistical microdata and macrodata analyses, scientometric analyses, field research and surveys, participatory multi-actor studies involving experts, stakeholders and citizens, horizon scanning of emerging technologies, Delphi-techniques or scenario building. Science and technology in the society is the primary thematic area of the TC Prague, beside that it provides analyses in thematic areas as urban and rural development (smart cities), innovation process in SMEs, innovation trends in agriculture, design and evaluation of R&I and agricultural and rural policies, and sustainable consumption.
