The 30th Annual Conference of the International Consortium on Applied Bioeconomy Research (ICABR) will be held in Ravello, Italy, in July 2026, under the theme “The Bioeconomy Transformation in Transition: Past Successes, Current Challenges, and Future Prospects.”
Marking three decades of pioneering research and global dialogue, the conference will bring together leading scholars, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss innovation, policy, and progress in biotechnology and agricultural development. ICABR has a history of shaping the field—47 of the top 50 articles in a landmark 2014 collection were first presented at the conference.
Key highlights include keynote addresses from Nobel Laureate Dr. Riccardo Valentini and experts from institutions such as IFPRI, Wageningen University, and Carnegie Sciences, as well as panels addressing scientific integrity, R&D funding, and international treaty frameworks.
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit abstracts aligned with three core themes: Innovation at Work, Challenges Facing Innovative Research, and Opportunities for Improving Innovation.
