Capacity Building: CAPRI Course 2025 – Open for Registration!

The CAPRI Course 2025 – Applied Data Analysis: Introduction to and Application of the Partial Equilibrium Model CAPRI in Market and Policy Analysis is now open for registration! Organized by the Thünen Institute, with support from the CAPRI consortium, this course runs from April 17 to July 17, taking place every Thursday from 12:00 to 16:00 in a hybrid format at Humboldt University of Berlin.

As part of the capacity-building efforts within ACT4CAP27 and BrightSpace, the course is open to external participants as well as Master’s students in Agricultural Economics at Humboldt University (Course Nr. 132099).

Led by Alexander Gocht (Thünen) with support of Davit Stepanyan, Davide Pignotti, Ferike Thom, Jörg Rieger, and with contributions of core developers of the CAPRI network such as Maria Blanco, Torbjörn Jansson, Caetano Beber, the course covers:
📌 Introduction to the GAMS modelling language
📌 General introduction to the CAPRI modelling system
📌 Hands-on analysis and deep dives into specific model sections

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with one of the most widely used economic models for agri-food policy analysis.
