Productive exchanges in today’s (03/11/2025) online collaboration meeting between BrightSpace, RATION, and GeneBEcon – with DETECTIVE joining as a follow-on initiative.
The projects shared updates, aligned on upcoming dissemination opportunities, and advanced work on a shared scientific publication.
Key highlights
✅ BrightSpace completed its second project period, submitted deliverables, and published a new article on Safe and Just Operating Space in EU agriculture. Next newsletter coming by year-end — fellow projects’ updates welcome.
✅ RATION held its project meeting in Crete, and is preparing its final conference in Sept 2026, including potential joint dissemination with sister projects.
✅ GeneBEcon has concluded in August, and is finalising reporting — collaboration continues via the DETECTIVE project, especially on regulation and trade topics.
🎯 The teams aim to submit a joint session proposal to ICABR 2026, strengthening joint outreach and visibility.
📄 Joint publication across the three projects is close to final draft — now expanding to include DETECTIVE. Target: open-access publication in 2026.
