BrightSpace was proud to be represented at the EcoMod2025 International Conference on Economic Modeling and Data Science, held from 3–5 September 2025 at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University in Stuttgart, Germany. The conference brought together leading economists, data scientists, and policy analysts to discuss innovative quantitative approaches to today’s most pressing policy challenges.
Zuzana Smeets Kristkova (WSER, CZU) delivered a presentation “Impacts of Hazardous Pesticide Reduction in Europe” of her BrightSpace-related work.
Her contribution examined the economic and policy implications of reducing hazardous pesticide use across Europe — an issue central to sustainable agriculture, environmental safety, and public health. The study’s insights support ongoing EU efforts to transition toward more resilient and ecologically sound food systems.
BrightSpace’s presence at EcoMod2025 highlights the project’s commitment to advancing evidence-based policy and contributing robust quantitative analysis to key European sustainability debates.
