The BrightSpace consortium held its fifth Scientific and Policy Advisory Board (SPAB) meeting on 6 October 2025. The session reviewed key scientific progress, recent dissemination activities, and preparations for the upcoming reporting period.
Partners reported on major outputs, including the Joint Perspective Paper on EU agricultural transitions (LAMASUS–ACT4CAP27–BrightSpace) and the accepted Q Open article on the Safe and Just Operating Space for European agriculture. Recent activities were also highlighted, such as BrightSpace contributions to the EAAE Congress, the Second Stakeholder Retreat, and the Horizon Europe Modelling Cluster Meeting.
SPAB members were invited to review several M36 deliverables due on 31 October, alongside inputs to key milestones related to baseline validation and future scenario assessment. The meeting also outlined the full timeline for the Second Reporting Period, culminating in the Review Meeting with the European Commission on 22 January 2026.
The consortium looks ahead to its Fourth Annual Meeting, taking place 10–12 March 2026 in Cremona, hosted by Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
